We’re so pumped about our conversation with Angie Osorio. Angie is a Marketing Expert & Creator and is also a content partner. Content partners help Voyage in so many ways from spreading the word about the work that we do, sponsoring our mission and collaborating with us on content like this. Check out our conversation with Angie below.

Hi Angie, so great to have you join us again. For folks who might have missed our earlier conversations, can you please take a minute to briefly introduce yourself? First of all, thank you for this opportunity to share with your audience about myself. My name is Angie Osorio. I was born and raised in Colombia before calling Miami home. I enjoy creating life, defeating my fears as an entrepreneur while I raise my two beautiful teenage daughters.

I am a passionate marketing expert who creates marketing pieces and enjoyable entertainment experiences for the beverage and food industry. Events and experiences like tastings, recipes, and personal reviews to promote alcohol brands, bars, and restaurants. Such experiences inspire people to celebrate life and live in the moment.

I am unstoppable in my desire to leave everyone with the impression that we all were born to experience our greatness.

We have been watching and listening to about ThinkCheers? What is your project about? Who is ThinkCheers? I feel so passionate talking about this. “ThinkCheers!” was born as a fantasy. It was an opportunity created from nothing to being someone unleashed in this world. And through this dream, I have been able to design my own career, portfolio, and life. One of the main reasons that moved me to create “ThinkCheers!” as its name says itself, was a series of events that transpired in my life. I experienced a profound sadness I didn’t want anyone to feel. At some point, I decided to bring enjoyment to life wherever I am and whatever I do.

I started as a Graphic Designer in the Advertising world designing marketing pieces, but something inside me told me that it was not enough. In one of the darkest moments in my life, something Les Brown said struck me: “create your message out of your mess”. One day this idea came to my mind, the name and everything. How cool would it be to bring the celebration of life everywhere! And I started crafting my project. First by making some recipes- and social media posts here and there. Until one day I jumped and released what I considered that superstar we all have inside. With lots of fear and considerations, I posted my first video!! What I can say is it was the most fulfilling experience of my life. I love the spotlight and making people happy, laugh, or what I define as “experience the greatness of every human being I have contact with and make them experience their best”.

Right now “ThinkCheers!” is defined as a space where we create marketing pieces and enjoyable entertainment experiences like tastings, recipes, and reviews to promote alcohol brands, bars, and restaurants. Such experiences inspire people to celebrate life and live in the moment.

What inspires you to create ThinkCheers, and what is the best advice you could give to someone who needs inspiration for a project or dream? I think any dream or fantasy gets to be moved by an intense feeling deeply connected with the inner self of the dreamer. We all know that we want something in life, and we all are special and moved by something deep inside us.

I created “ThinkCheers!” out of my desire to experience a sense of happiness and celebration that was missing in my life. My inspiration was to find the best version of myself and having others experience the same.

My best advice to others is, in today’s world there are a bunch of resources to craft your dreams. There is no excuse, defeat your circumstances. You only have to have the desire and be disciplined. Never stop dreaming. Meditate, read and be unstoppable in transforming your fantasies into reality.

Clue#1: Perseverance defeats any fear!Clue#2: There are many things to learn, but many more to un-learn!

If you could give one tip to help move on quickly in times of conflict or breakdown, what would be that tip? The tip I can give is to focus on your outcome, your goal, your dream, not on your circumstances. And move directly to action in that direction. Conflicts are circumstances that are always going to change. There is no point in staying there for a long period of time, it is just a waste of time. Learn from that and move on from that space with velocity to the next massive action that fulfills your dream. As you have the result of one action towards fulfilling your outcome, that accomplishment will diminish the conflict until it disappears. And the feeling is great!

You have created many things with friends’ support with not having any other resources. How do you get to have people collaborating and contributing to each other? I think we are a unit and collaboration equals growth. When we as humans are in collaboration, we are creating. Whenever I have a meeting with a friend, I share my projects. In that conversation, I get something, an idea, a contact. If we are not collaborating, we are disintegrating and in the end, nobody wins. I get people collaborating with me because I have invested, read, and trained myself in the art of making requests without fear, giving up everything, and being okay with what other people think about me. But is not easy!! In the end, people are always going to talk or judge, because we are humans. In conclusion, what I can say is that having people join your dreams is the training in defeating your fears, and what others think about you, and giving all the power to your dreams. And one more thing when you support others, life always, always gives you back. As a quote, I posted recently: “Until it is my turn, I will keep clapping for others. It’s that simple”.

What is the best we can expect from Angie – ThinkCheers in the future? Through this journey called life, I have had multiple ups and downs. In my deep downs, something that has not let my fears or disadvantages drain my dreams is my desire to be a contribution to humanity and bring all my talents to the service of the communities I belong to. After much training and reading books, I realized that being on this planet was not about me anymore, I came to do something else. Every day I am in the discovery of my big call, but the best that you can expect from me now is being a contribution through my business, my talents, and my perseverance to make this planet a better place to live. It’s so exciting to be alive and enjoy the miracles that we are part of. Media and society in general have made us be part of many limiting beliefs. Through “ThinkCheers!” my mission is to not only share about drinks and places but mostly to bring the celebration of life and a message that life doesn’t need to be perfect to be lived to the fullest.

You have been through many challenges in your life. How have these challenges made you who you are today and helped you accomplish what you have accomplished? Challenges in life are attracting the necessary problems you have to overcome to learn and grow. I think that when I started creating myself as an entrepreneur, I didn’t even know what I was doing or the difficulties I was going to face. But now looking back, it seems that everything was perfect. All the situations, incidents, and breakdowns I confronted during all these years have always been a lesson to be used in the future. It took me a long time and training to see every adversity as an opportunity. When the context shifts, everything shifts.

For example, my mom was a wise, determined and smart woman. After she passed, and not having her around, made me very sad. I felt lost without her and without my family. For years I was the victim of that thought. When in reality, not having them in my life made me be a very resourceful and creative woman. The human mind is miraculous and graceful. If you are up to great things in life the mind aligns and looks for the answer, the people, and the circumstances to fulfill your dreams. You just have to have the desire, that fire in your soul, and perseverance.

“ThinkCheers!” is the result of many sad days converted into a colorful experience of being alive. If I had not experienced such sadness in my life, I probably wouldn’t experience happiness as I experience it right now. Or giving to the miracle of life, the power and meaning it deserves. It doesn’t mean that you need to suffer to succeed in life but overcoming struggles definitively transforms life.

It was so great to reconnect. One last question – how can our readers connect with you, learn more or support you? Yes, I want to share an extract of who I am. Just because it took me years of coaching and training to get into this description and be free to share. Your readers are welcome to copy this for Their own pitch, rephrase, get inspired, wherever they want to use this for their own profiles.

“I am a passionate marketing expert who creates marketing pieces and enjoyable entertainment experiences like tastings, recipes, and reviews to promote alcohol brands, bars, and restaurants. Such experiences inspire people to celebrate life and live moment by moment.” This is the main focus in this moment of my life: “ThinkCheers!”

As an entrepreneur, I am also involved in multiple activities like:

• Performing Coaching: I am unstoppable in my desire to leave everyone with the impression that we all were born to experience our greatness

• Photography: I love to take photos of all kinds but mainly personal profiles, and even when I don’t define myself as a photographer, people love the results. I love taking the photos and see the results but mostly the smile on their faces when they see themselves as superstars

• Pro Bono Projects: The fulfillment of supporting our community is priceless.

• Politics: I am supporting one of my former coachees in her political campaign. I think things don’t happen out of talking but getting involved and taking action.

Meanwhile, I raise my two beautiful teenagers that enlighten my life. My treasures 🙂
